This striking black dane stole my heart!!  Dakota was purchased as a show prospect but never saw the show ring.  She was a wild, unruly puppy that was hard to control.  Testing showed she had a thyroid problem which is controlled by medication, bilateral entropion which required surgery and ended any hope of a show career.   She was never bred.  When she was spayed, our vet discovered she had 2 cervixes .  She was dearly loved and was our vet’s favorite dane. At 11+ years, Dakota decided it was time to cross over the rainbowbridge and she was laid to rest.  We will miss our sweet princess.
