Cayce developed into a beautiful, sweet girl.  She hated the show ring, Cayce completed puppy training and basic obedience.  We then discovered her calling in life -- she excelled in therapy work. This was Cayce’s special talent!!  It was amazing to watch her work; she could draw out the most withdrawn children and seniors.  She adored children and the feeling was mutual.

Cayce & I on the day she qualified to be a therapy dog. Notice the antlers and bells she’s wearing. People were always shocked that she would tolerate costumes. She made special appearances for charity events when asked but retired from an active therapy program when cancer was discovered.

Cayce & my husband, Ted, who was a little apprehensive about the dane breed. Well, this picture says it all -- she’s “daddy’s girl”; they are inseparable.

Cayce as a wee pup with our daughter, Jody Lyn, at Jan Brungard’s - Creekside Kennels.  Cayce gave lots of puppy kisses and that’s all it took.

Cayce in her senior years.
